Heavy Duty

Heavy Duty is an extremely effective foaming wheel cleaner + degreaser that can tackle anything you throw at it. You can run it through foam cannons, down stream injectors, spray bottles or the bucket + brush system.

Heavy Duty arrives SUPER CONCENTRATED which gives you the option to cut it and make the perfect ratio for the job at hand!

*Maximum usable dilution of 100:1*

We designed Heavy Duty to be as safe as possible on all paint and mirror polished aluminum while getting the job done and getting your project back to looking new again. Below are our recommendations for dilution rates for specific jobs. As always test on a small section and adjust your ratio if needed.

Dilution Ratios:

Tire + Wheel Cleaner: 10 parts water : 1 part Heavy Duty

Heavy Degreasing: 3 parts water : 1 part Heavy Duty

Directions:

TIRE + WHEEL CLEANER

Wheels, rims and even mud flaps require a stronger ratio to really cut through the build up of brake dust, road grime and various filth from the road. Use pump sprayers or a bucket + brush for this job.

HEAVY DEGREASING

Use any method to apply at this ratio. Go on strong and hit it with a high PSI rinse for super effective result. Great for construction equipment, under carriages, tools or anything with tons of grease and grime on it!

Tips + Tricks:

Use warm water (125°F+) for improved breakdown of grease and road film.
Apply bottom-up on vertical surfaces to reduce streaking.
Always follow up with a clean rinse to remove residue.
For aluminum or polished surfaces, rinse immediately and avoid over-application.
Combine with a soft bristle brush for deep wheel face cleaning.

You knocked it outta the park with this one. Slowly but surely building my stockpile of Chem-X products. nothing I've tried has disappointed yet! Keep up the good work!

Didn't work as expected

When I received the package, the cap had a seal which was opened halfway, and the inside of the plastic wrap was a bit wet. I used a sprayer and diluted it 5:1, so the next time I use it I would use a much lower dilution. I let it dwell for a bit, then agitated the rim and tire and rinsed it off. The tire still looked slightly brown, and the rims needed some touch ups. Which I was surprised by that it didn’t clean as excepted because I have a buddy of mine that uses this product and recommended it to me, and it worked beautifully for him. He dilutes it 30:1, which is crazy diluted and at that dilution ratio, man it would last me forever which is the reason why I bought it and it was on sale too. I'm not sure if I'll buy more when I run out. It does make me a little cautious about Awesome Sauce if it works diluted or not, I am undecided whether I should give it a try.

It worked great

It worked great on a wheel I needed to clean before polishing.
The only thing it didn't clean off was the brake dust that was burned into the wheel, that'll have to be sanded out

I use this in my bidet when I’m having a pretty rough time on the turlet and it will clean anything off of anything 10/10 recommend

Heavy Duty definitely works

Brake dust was no match for Heavy Duty. This wheel hadn't been touched in 6 years. Heavy Duty with 1000 psi and 2.8gpm pressure washer cleaned them up nice!
