FOAM CANNON APPLICATION:
- Apply Old Glory to the vehicle from bottom to top. When using on large trucks, work in small sections to prevent soap from drying if applied in direct sunlight.
- Thoroughly rinse with high PSI 6 to 12 inches from the surface, working from bottom to top. This method ensures no area is missed, as the high PSI will effectively remove the road film. If needed, using a mitt to remove stubborn grime is okay during the first wash.
Safety + Surface Notes:
- Do NOT allow Old Glory to dry on the surface—especially in direct sunlight.
- Avoid use on polished aluminum unless diluted beyond 100:1 and used with caution.
- Test on sensitive finishes before full application.
- Always rinse thoroughly to prevent spotting or streaks.

We advise against using Old Glory on polished aluminum surfaces. For a safer alternative, we recommend Stars + Stripes—or for the most gentle and coating-safe option, use Liquid-X.

Yes—but use with caution and do not let it dwell too long or dry on the surface. Rinse quickly and follow with a protective sealant like Snake Oil.

What's The Difference Between Old Glory And Stars + Stripes?
Old Glory is a high-pH, single-step touch-free foam soap designed for speed and simplicity—ideal for fast-paced washes and fleet applications. In contrast, Stars + Stripes is a two-step system that combines an acidic pre-soak (Stripes) with an alkaline foam (Stars) to safely remove road film while finishing at a neutral pH. It's the preferred choice for polished aluminum and more sensitive surfaces.
