MTM HYDRO PF22.2 Foam Cannon Repair Kit
MTM Hydro's Replacement Filter Kit for the PF22.2 Foam Cannon includes:
4 - O-Rings
1 - Metal Pin
1 - Compressed Stainless Steel Filter
MTM Hydro's Stainless Steel Foam Cannon Filter is a replaceable maintenance item that fits all MTM Foam Cannons in the PF22.2 Series. The filter is a woven Italian Stainless mesh that operates as an agitator when the chemical and pressurized stream hits it. To the naked eye, it looks similar to the cheap Chinese versions but once it is disassembled, there is a distinct pattern developed by our Italian engineers that ensures a thicker clinging foam.
From the models we have tested, this Filter will fit in competing foam cannons in addition to MTM Hydro's. Don't expect the same results though, the MTM Hydro Stainless orifice, and sequential conical chambers of our Cannons have equal importance to the foam output.
As an agitator, this item will get clogged over time and if you use waxes, the sticky compounds are notorious for causing a faster failure rate. If you suspect a clog, and you remove the agitator, there will be no noticeable issue as the sticky chemical compounds are driven deep into the middle which creates additional back-pressure and inhibits foam creation.

Repair kit pf22
The cannons are great when they work. Im a mechanic by trade, so the convenience to take things apart with ease like this is great. HOWEVER, i have had 2 cannons for about a year now and had to put kits in the about every other month. It seems like the o rings dont like the chemicals that are in them, or they just plain wear out. My excavation company uses them almost everyday to clean tri axle dump trucks all the way down to pickup trucks. The product itself works fantastic and i applaud your company for the product. Thanks Chris

Thanks for the feedback Chris! If your using a hot water power washer at the shop be sure to set the thermostat no higher than 140 degrees, that will wear out the o-rings much sooner, the soaps themselves will not wear out the seals but the heat definetely will.
