How to Apply Smokey Red

Machine Polishing (Recommended for Best Results):

  1. Shake well and apply 3-4 pea-sized drops onto a wool or cutting pad.
  2. Work a 2' x 2' section at medium speed (1,200 -1,800 RPM) with a rotary buffer or DA polisher.
  3. Polish until the product begins to haze or dry.
  4. Wipe off with a clean microfiber towel.
  5. Repeat if necessary on heavily oxidized areas.

Hand Polishing (For Small Touch-Ups):

  1. Spray or apply a small amount to a microfiber or terrycloth towel.
  2. Work the polish into the surface using firm, overlapping motions.
  3. Let haze slightly, then buff off with a clean towel.
  4. Repeat as needed.
Tips / Tricks

  • Always clean the surface first with Mob Shine or an appropriate degreaser.
  • Use a dedicated polishing pad or towel. Do not cross-contaminate.
  • For deep pitting or etching, you may need to polish in multiple passes.
  • Follow up with Bandit Blue for a high-gloss, mirror-like finish.
